Hang Nguyen is a San Francisco–based artist, working in oils, gouache, ink, and fiber. Sometimes, she dabbles in culture jamming.
For the past 20 years, Hang has exhibited in solo and group shows throughout the U.S. She has collaborated with other artists on several public art projects, including a 72-foot-long mural sponsored by the City of Berkeley and BART. In 2014, she was commissioned by the San Francisco 49ers (her home team!) to create three large-scale paintings for their new stadium in Santa Clara. This work led to a televised feature by NFL Films that aired on NBC's the TODAY show. Additionally, Hang has contracted with corporations on product illustrations. She has a degree in Art (Painting/Drawing) from Stanford University.
Hang's work is held in private collections in California, Arizona, Oregon, Minnesota, Ohio, Indiana, New Jersey, New York, and Florida. Hang is currently represented by Ugallery (online), artmatch (Atlanta), and Soho Myriad (Atlanta/Los Angeles/London).
